It also offers various services to businesses and government organization. Acer is in various countries. It has also acquired many businesses till date to boost its business and improve research department.

In India, its desktop and laptop segment is running fine but smartphone segment is struggling due to high competition.  In 2014 Acer was also ranked as fourth-largest personal computer vendor in the world.
