Realme 9i 5G

Realme 9i features a Stereo Prism design. The phone has a 6.6-inch display panel with thin bezels on the top and side. There is a waterdrop notch at the top center for the selfie camera. Realme 9i has a plastic frame. It has a power button on the right and volume rockers on the left. The power button also includes a fingerprint scanner. It has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, speaker, and primary microphone on the base side. The earpiece at the top also acts as a second speaker for stereo sound. The phone has a SIM tray on the left. At the back, the phone has a triple camera setup and patterns that are visible only when the phone is kept under the light at certain angles.

Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz dynamic refresh rate. The phone runs Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. It comes with several preinstalled apps that also send spammy notifications. These apps can be uninstalled.

Realme 9i 5G packs Dimensity 810 SoC based on a 6nm manufacturing process. It is an octa-core processor offering a good performance. This chipset is capable enough to offer good multitasking. The graphics are being handled by Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone handed gaming well but not all games run at the optimum level. It comes in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants. Storage is expandable up to 1TB.

There is a triple camera with a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The primary camera performs well and captures accurate colors. The HDR mode also works well. The night mode also produces good results. The depth camera is used to offer a blurred background in photos. The 2 MP macro camera is also there but I am not sure if it is worth enough to mention. For selfies, the phone has an 8 MP camera that performs well if the lighting condition is good.

It supports nine 5G bands but we have to wait until 5G is available in the country.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that easily offers a full-day battery backup. It also supports 18W fast charging that takes around 2.5 hours to charge the phone from 0-100 percent.
