Tecno Phantom V Fold features a 7.85 inch Foldable LTPO AMOLED display with 2000x2296 pixels resolution and 388 ppi pixel density. When the phone opens, you can see a small bump in the middle. Tecno warns against pushing the fold while folding the phone. Tecno claims that the single can withstand 200,000 folds. The display panel also has an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a secondary display of 6.42 inch on the outer side. Display features include Capacitive Touchscreen, Multi, touch, 2.5D curved glass screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+.

Tecno Phantom V Fold has a solid hinge made from an aluminum alloy. The back panel is also fingerprint-resistant.

The phone is powered by Octa core 3.2 GHz + 2.85 GHz + 1.8 GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. The processor has its Cortex-X2 mega-core reaching 3.2GHz, along with three 2.85GHz Cortex-A710 cores and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A510 cores. This SoC provides 12.6% higher in frequency than the Dimensity 9000. To handle graphics requirements, the phone also includes Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. It also has 12GB (LPDDR5X) RAM. Tecno Phantom V Fold also features 256GB (UFS 3.1) storage.

The phone measures Unfolded: 159.4 x 140.4 x 6.9 Folded: 159.4 x 72 x 14.2-14.5 and weighs 299.00 grams. It comes in Black, White color options.

Tecno Phantom V Fold features a 50MP f/1.85 main camera, 50MP 2x telephoto camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP internal selfie camera. It also has 32MP external selfie camera. The primary camera performs well and the primary telephoto camera also captures good photo. Although secondary telephoto and ultra-wide lenses are not particularly good, you will have a good camera experience. The camera software disappoints a bit. Photos are not as vibrant as other devices.

It also has a fingerprint sensor(On-screen) to quickly unlock the phone. The phone has 5G connectivity. The phone offers good daily usage battery backup. It also charges from 0 to 50% in 19 minutes and up to 100% in 59 minutes. However, the phone doesn't support wireless charging.
