Both OnePlus 8 pro and Mi 10 are 5G ready high-end phones but Mi 10 costs higher even if there's nothing much extra to offer.
The most notable feature of Mi 10 could be the 108 megapixels rear camera but I will still recommend you go after the performance, not the megapixels count of the camera. Apple still uses 12 megapixels sensor but rules phone photography.
Now if I talk about the comparison of OnePlus 8 pro and Mi 10, OnePlus 8 has a better display. OnePlus 8 Pro features Fluid AMOLED display with 1440x3168 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. On the other hand, Mi 10 features an E3 AMOLED display with 1080x2340 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. E3 AMOLED panels are energy efficient and lower screen resolution in Mi 10 will make battery efficient. But the display of OnePlus 8 will be sharper and smoother.
Both the phones pack the same Snapdragon 865 Soc and Adreno 650 but Oxygen OS is better than MIUI. So, the performance of OnePlus 8 Pro will be slightly better.
Even if Mi 10 boasts 108 megapixels camera, the camera performance of both the phones will be similar. Mi 10 has 20 megapixels selfie camera as opposed to 16 megapixels selfie camera in OnePlus 8 Pro, but selfie performance is also similar.
Both the phones are 5G ready and come with similar connectivity options. Mi 10 packs slightly larger battery. It has 4780 mAh battery as opposed to 4510 mAh battery in OnePlus 8 Pro. Mi 10 also has energy efficient display with lesser resolution. So, it will offer better battery performance. Both the phones support 30W wired fast charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging.
If you ask my recommendation, OnePlus 8 Pro should be your choice. Mi 10 should come with better pricing if it really wants to compete in the premium segment.

Except for 108 megapixels rear camera, Mi 10 has nothing extraordinary to compete against OnePlus 8 Pro. Overall OnePlus 8 Pro looks a better deal. If you want my suggestion, go with OnePlus 8 Pro.
