Samsung recently launched two new foldable phones Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. These phones are flagship foldable priced at more than $1000. Even if both the phones have foldable designs, they have different looks and feel. Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a clamshell-style flip phone while Z Fold 4 is book-style foldable. Samsung has also added software optimization for respective foldable designs. For example, Flip 4 gets the bottom-screen trackpad feature in its Flex Mode.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 6.2-inch cover AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. When you unfold the phone, it reveals the large 7.6-inch AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy Z Flip 4. Has a 6.7-inch, AMOLED, 120Hz display that folds from the center. It also has a 1.9-inch external display.
Both the phones have an IPX8 rating. That means these phones can survive under 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. Even if these phones have IP ratings, try to avoid water as much as possible.
Both the phones have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Flip 4 comes with 8GB RAM while Fold 4 has 12GB RAM. Fold 4 also offers better storage.
