What is 1080p - Definition?

1080p is referred to the full HD resolution. It offers an image size of 1920 x 1080 pixels. IN other terms, it is also known as FHD. The "p" means "progressive" that indicates there are truly 1080 vertical lines.

1080p just indicates the resolution and it has nothing to do with refresh rate or the display.

1080p also implies the aspect ratio of 16:9. So, the 1080p display will have around 2M pixels
