UI (User Interface) definition

User Interface is the software which we use to perform task on a hardware of the device. Technically is the part of operating system which is visible and hides all complexities.

Some times it is also used for some input hardware too. But in mobile devices, it is used for the software. What kind of window, color, transitions and other element we see and use to perform tasks on a smartphone are called UI. The easier to work on a user interface, the more user friendly it is called.
