Bluebugging definition
Bluebugging is a type of wireless hacking technique that allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access to a Bluetooth-enabled device and use its features and capabilities, such as making phone calls or sending text messages, without the owner's knowledge or consent. This can be achieved by exploiting vulnerabilities in the Bluetooth implementation or the device itself. Bluebugging is considered a serious security threat and can be prevented by using strong authentication mechanisms, regularly updating the device's firmware, and avoiding the use of easily guessable passcodes.
